I am honored to be invited back to the Ballarat Craft Lab this year with a selection of my knitted wire sculptures from ‘The Salpinx Collection’. As part of Ballarat Heritage Festival, and in partnership with Craft Victoria, Craft Lab 23 hosts an exhibition, practitioner demonstrations, panel discussions and workshops at the old Mining Exchange building. Now in its third year, Craft Lab is a celebration of traditional artisanal skills coupled with contemporary flair, seeking to maintain old skills but also exploring how these can be applied in new ways.
