Mood Vessels

This project uses the crafting technique of wire knitting to create objects which are both malleable and resistant. The repetitive process of knitting wire imitates the domestic labour of women’s crafts; a recurring theme in the artist’s work. This project marks the intersection of a longstanding interest in fibre crafts with an exploration of three-dimensional form and colour.
